i bought a replacement antenna from Pep Boys so that I could fit my truck in the garage. it is the exact same style as the stock antenna (black with a wire wrapped around) but shorter. i think it looks much better and it is practical (can fit in the garage now). i personally don't care about the antenna otherwise. i've had retractable ones and I am not a fan. they break off and the motors fail and they are just a PITA.
