Post NRF and KCY

Well due to the hurricane NRF has shutdown until Monday, so you SCab and RCab guys may be waiting a little longer if you haven't already received your orders. KCY on the other hand will be working their first Saturday shift in a loooonng time during the week of 10-6-03.....and they are ramping up SCrew production (to 47 JPH) and cutting non SCrew production (to 8.4 JPH) during the same week.

I am fairly new to this board and do not know what NRF and KCY stand for, I am thinking they are codes for factories. Also what does JPH stand for?

Thanx in advance for your response.

Don't hold your breath about faster delievery.

Ordered on 7/12.

Finally had to use the two C words (cancel, Chevrolet) to get my dealer to contact his rep. Found out VIN was assigned last week and I was assured my build date would be next week and I would have it by 10/13. We'll see.

Oh, believe me, I know. But I'm seeing more and more people who ordered later get their VINs before some who ordered earlier. I'm hoping for a build by the end of October. And since they're upping the JPH to 47 I think it will be beneficial.

Mine was ordered the day after yours and I don't have a build date yet. Still, I would buy a car before I buy a Chevy truck.

I wouldn't have a Cheby either. However, when you have bought 3 vehicles in less than one year from the same dealer sometimes the threats pay off.
