2004 F-150 FX4 interior black only??
I ordered the medium flint captains chairs which are an available option according to the "Build Your Ford" website (http://www.fordvehicles.com/asp/redi...?target=Config).
Just got a call from my dealer. He said he can only get it in black. The dealer order system won't take the code for the medium flint color. When he enters it in, the system automatically changes it to black. I don't really care, I just want the truck! :-)
Just curious though ... Has anyone else either ordered a 2004 FX4 or already gotten one with an interior other than black??

Yes, and it's waiting for me
at the dealership and I can't pick it up until Saturday. I ordered on 7/29 and it arrived at the dealer on Saturday. Here is a link to another thread with pictures of a truck identical to mine.

All FX4 interiors (dashes and carpet) are black but the seats are what could be black or grey. Just make sure that they use the proper order code for the seats you want.("LB" for cloth capt. chairs. and "QB" for leather.) Hope this helps.

As long as your dealer puts in the code for the Flint seats they should still come flint. It was mentioned in an earlier thread that it's a program glitch that it comes up black. The key is that he uses the proper code. Although, I would recommend the black seats over the Flint. I think the black looks sharper.

They give you that option with cloth or leather but after looking at them, I ordered mine with the black leather. It might show age quicker and dirt but looks so "matched" with the rest of the interior. Just my 2 cents.
