Question Keyless Entry Keypad

Can you program your own number for the driver's keyless entry keypad?

You can add one, in addition to the one already there. Apparently the built in number is programmed into the computer, as it can't be erased or changed.

The number in the truck works even after programing your own 5 digit code. Your personal 5 digit continues to work until the battery is unhooked or another code is programed over it.

Mine still works even after having the battery unhooked for a while.
