Said I wouldn't ask for VIN help but help
 

I have been coming to this site almost religiously for 3 months. I made fun of folks asking for VIN help. I thought why do these people keep bothering guys like "lightning kid", "screwbuilder" and others, they have lives too. I finally got a VIN a week or so ago and now the temptation is too great to resist. I have become one of those guys. FORGIVE ME!

Hey Clarkn,

How long ago did you order your Screw? I ordered one 7/31 from a dealer in S. Jersey and still waiting on a VIN.

I ordered it on 13 Jul in Mt Holly and the wait is killin me. I already have a cover for it and have mapped out the plan for line-x and a tonneau cover. Hope you get a VIN soon! :beers:

I orderd a Black FX4 Screw from my dealer in central nj on 7/3/03 it had a build date of 9/1/03. They told me on 9/6/03 that the truck was bucked but had no vin# yet so they say. I called on 9/13/03 still no vin# but they said to call back on 9/18/03 when they get their updates. I hope the truck is already shipped by that time but it seems strange that other people have vin#'s and their trucks are not even built yet. Must be something with these crazy nj dealers.:confused:

That doesn't sound right. If it's bucked, then it's on the line ready to roll and should have had a VIN assigned prior to being bucked.

I was not going to ask either, BUT I cant stand it!!! LOL

Looks like yours is Kansas City... did you get a SCrew? Both are identified within the VIN, somewhere. I think KA for Kansas City...? I think W is for SCrew... X for SCab... F for Reg Cab.
