Does anyone have the 5.4 in their new 2004 F-150? All I have seen here in the Buffalo area are 4.6's. Haven't seen a single 5.4 on any lot anywhere.

 

Lariat & FX4 = 5.4L only. 4.6L not an option
STX = 4.6L only. 5.4L not an option
XL, XLT = 5.4L OR 4.6L available.

I can't believe that nobody has a 5.4L on any lot. That's just plain rediculous.

 

I've been wanting to test drive the new 5.4, but haven't found one yet. It's kind of surprising.

 

5.4s are everywhere in SoCal. well, up by me anyway. on every dealer's lot they have many. i test drove an FX4 a week ago and poked around a new Lariat today (black interior is NICE). the 5.4L engine actually looks small when you open the hood, but i think most of its beef is burried under other components. i am curious to see how the header manufacturers are going get headers to fit in there. it's pretty tight.

 

yea in so cal they are everywhere, i test drove one a little over a a week ago, i love them!! especially their interior, but the 5.4l has a TON of power, well more than the current 5.4. Im thinking about going for an 04 just like my 02 but with the 5.4.
