Week #37 commodities

Just got a fax of commodites for scheduling that begins tommorrow. This is for the Select dealers (smaller dealers) in the Kansas City region, but I assume all regions should be simmilar

30% SuperCrew (only 10% of these can be two tone)
70% non-Crew (only 10% of these can be two tone)
60% 5.4L
5% LT275 OWL tires

That means for every 100 trucks:

30 SuperCrew but only 3 with Two tone
70 regular or supercab, only 7 two tone

Of these trucks 60 can have 5.4L
only 5 can have LT tires.

Well, I canceled my SCrew, so there's one more that can be built. I had just received a Build Date too! But I don't want to get mine just before winter hits like my '97 and '98, I want plenty of time to enjoy my new purchase in good weather.

PS Sorry to hear about people getting keyed, that just sucks. Happened to my '98 about a year after I bought it. Sucks big time, there's really nothing to be done about it except to grin and bear it.

Week #39 just came in and more of the same, I guess these % are going to be around for a while, I thought SuperCrew numbers would be improving, but not so far.

Just be patient man

Give it a year or so and it'll be just like the last generation F-series. You wont be able to swing an arm without hitting one configured just like you like it, and the dealers will be letting them go at thousands below sticker all day. That 'first on the block to have one' tax is a @itch, ain't it?
