Question on FX4 order sheets

I got my copy of my Dealer Order Acknowledgement yesterday and I ordered the Audiophile system. Now I know that requires a 6-CD In-Dash radio, however on my sheet it has the standard radio listed underneath my preferred equipment package. Will the selection of the Audiophile furhter down, automatically override this or should I go to the dealer and get it changed.

When you get the Audiophile, you do not pay both the $545 for Audiophile and $250, or whatever it is for the 6-CD, correct? It's just the one $545 fee?

Yes, you are correct $545. There was a problem with the early ordering system.

This Forum has beat that issue to death a couple of months ago.

I would assume Audiophile would override, but you may want to confirm with your dealer. There is only 1 charge for it... $475 or $545, depending on the truck you get.

Yeah, I guess I'll go there today since I have to make an appointment for my Explorer recall anyway. If for nothing else, at least for peace mind.

Yes, the Audiophile now includes the 6 CD, earyly their was a glitch so they raised the price to include it instead of having the system force you to order it.

So should I ignore the fact that the standard radio (AM/FM Stereo/Clock/Single CD) is also listed on my order? The Audiophile option at the bottom will override that and they'll get it right?

Yes, for some reason Ford has a lot of things like this on the new F-150. For example, the FX4 with gray seats says black, SuperCrew's all Say XLT on the DORA and then list the Lariat, FX4, etc down below. I don't thing programing did a very good job on the ordering system.

It's not exclusive to the computer. In the book, in the middle section, there is a pic of an XLT interior with what is supposedly Two-tone seats. Though they are the dark flint seats. But they look like they should be two-tone.

Thanks XCR440SP! You have been a big help. I feel much better about my order now.
