Question Drove an '04..Help me out here!!!!!!!!!!

went and drove an '04 screw yesterday....XLT...i loved the ride...cant believe that...but i was very disappointed in teh cloth interior....and lack of bells and whistles that you go with the XLT....i have an '02 screw that has more extras on it than the '04...the back seat didnt seem near an comfortable and it didn't fold down...i love th compartments in my '02 behind the rear seat...where am i suppose to put my jumper cables small tool box flash light ect.....the tires on it looked really small even though they are 17 inch wheels...the guy didnt seem to know much about them....was the one i drove a base model XLT or is that gonna be the norm for most....i was very impressed by the ride again...it was great...not impressed by the interior cloth...and lack of storage.....someone please answer some of these questions for me...thanks

Go for an FX4. It looks a hell of a lot better. Plus most of the things that are options on the XLT are standard on the FX4. So you can get a better truck for just a few hundred dollars more. I ordered an XLT, sat in one, didn't like it, canceled my order, re-ordered and FX4. It's going to push me back a month or two, but it'll be well worth it in the end. And get two-tone.

well, at the price of the FX4, i think you should go with the Lariat. they are about the same price. same price but better features including computer for gas milage and stuff and electronic climate control. also, i drove an FX4 and the seats flip up. you can store stuff under the back seats, there is space, but not behind them.

Somebody mentioned under the passenger side back seat is where the subwoofer goes, if you get Audiophile. I didn't so that's where my cables are at. You can also stick a few low profile things under the rear seat on the drivers side of the truck, but the other side has more of a trunk like feel to it, since it is rimmed in plastc. Yea, I miss the rear compartments on my '00 XLT too.
