The F-150 SuperCrew with a 6.5ft bed

I don't know if anyone has posted anything about this yet. I was at a dealer Friday and I asked him if the SuperCrews were going to have a 6.5ft bed and he said that they were. He did not say when though. Does anyone have anymore info about this.

bed

I have not heard this to be true. It would take a completely different frame to make the bed longer and I don't think that is going to happen.

screwbuilder is the man on this stuff. They could prolly build one, but the frame would be different and that means prolly new model year.

At the Ride and Drive sales training, it was mentioned that the SuperCrew currently offers the 5.5' bed, but she said a 6.5' will be available in the future, but I don't know what "future" means, I'd bet that if GM finally gets a Crew cab 1/2 ton (sorry the 1500 HD doesn't count, its a 3/4) as they are supposed to this winter, I bet the SuperCrew will answer with a box length option soon after, but thats just a guess.
