FDAF on Invoice

Just wondering if the FDAF (Ford Dealer Advertising Fee) varies or is the same in different parts of the country. On my invoice the fee is $295 (Midwest - IA). What is it on yours?
While we are at it, the fuel charge on the invoice is $38.74 for 26 gal. U.S. I assume this is the same on all invoices. Am I correct?

Another invoice question. Anyone know how the "Date Inv Prepared" relates to when it was built? Is it the date it is put in the build schedule, the date it is built, etc.?

FDAF is regional, it varies based on region. In Iowa your either in Kansas City region (most of the state), Chicago region (northeast corner) or Twin Cities region (northwest corner). I haven't seen other areas rates in a while but I know a few years back KC was one of the lowest. There was only a $100-200 spread from highest to lowest though. I believe the fuel charge is the same (excessive) amount everywhere.

Date invoice prepared is just that, the date the invoice was printed. Its usually before the build date.

Forgot to mention that FDAF varies by model, its higher on higher priced vehicle lines (same on all units just models that vary).

actually, with the numbers given above, that works out to $1.49/gal. Considering gas here in CA is around $2, I'd say that is the cheapest tank of gas you'll buy for that new F150 for a long time. I realize gas is cheaper in other parts of the country, but I still think $1.49/gal ain't bad no matter where you are.

Yeah.... especially considering that the national average per gallon is around $1.65 right now per gallon of 87 octane.

It stays at that price even if gas is $1.20. And if Ford's price is below the average for long, they'll rase it (never seen it go down though). And also factor what they pay for the 1,000's of gallons of bulk gas is less than what we pay for 30 gallon. Also they don't even come with the fuel on the invoice. They charge for a full tank on the invoice, but they come in with less than 1/4 and the dealer has to fill them up.
