Question What's the definative status of SCrew's ???

Anyone know, for certain, what's happening with the delivery of the SCrew's? I'm hearing / reading rumors of October or November delivery, but what about the ones already built, with build dates and with delivery dates, etc... What's the problem...

I understand that new launches usually have their bugs, but this is rediculous ! C'mon Ford, get your $%*@ together and get the vehicles out to the people who ordered them, at the very least. I think you owe it to the loyal customer(s) who ordered this vehicle months ago.

I had a build date of 9/1/03 assigned (or week of ?...on VIN# 1FTPW12524KA65910) and I have no idea if it's gonna happen or not. My dealer doesn't have any information, though I must say he's been pretty patient with me so far. Even if it does get built, the delivery will probably be screwed up, in some way. I'm becoming more and more discouraged and am wondering if this truck is really worth the headache.

I say, let's see what happens by the beginning of next week. I'm seeing promotions around about "The next big thing coming from Ford on September 4th," referring to the F-150s. I think once that add campaign w/ the NFL kicks off, we're going to get F-150 overload.

You should be fine. Its if you don't have a VIN that the delays might be a problem. Not a problem of production, just supply and demand as SuperCrews are hot and didn't start production until late so there won't be as many of them for a while.

Not sure if Ford is waiting for the 4th but some are showing up on dealers lots, I have seen 2 of them, hopefully tomorrow when I go to work I will see lots of transports heading down I-70. Also from what I heard Ford is going to put on a massive PR campaign starting on the 4th. I guess we will see.
