Was told that my Screw had a build date of Sept 1. I am assuming that means the week of?

This is the info I have on mine (4x2 Lariat SCrew), so far:

Order Date: 7/11/2003
Receipt Date: 7/11/2003
Serialize Date: 8/14/2003
Segment Date: 8/15/2003
Sequence Date: 8/20/2003
Blend Date: 8/22/2003
Dealer gave me VIN # 8/27/2003 - 1FTPW12524KA65910
Build Date: 9/1/03 (or week of?)
Delivery ETA: 9/15/03 (or week of?)

If anyone may have additional information to ease my nerves, it would be greatly appreciated. I need a drink after this wait !

Did your dealer give you this date. Are is it just a guess?

 

Both.
He estimated delivery would probably be about 2 weeks after build.... It showed a build date of 9/1 and indicated it was "bucked", whatever that means (maybe that it's on the line ready to roll??) but did not show a specific delivery date.

I saw this word on the paper work at my dealer. I was wondering what it was.


My build date was 25 august. I was not given a delivery date or quess. Just wondering if you knew something i did not on delivery.

 

They did have specific delivery / receipt dates for SCrew's on their report, beginning this week (9/1)... and I know they started shipping SCrew's on 8/18.

For the ones indicating a delivery date, the build date was about 2 weeks prior... so I'm hoping this ETA guestimate would be accurate.

 

Based on this thread so far, I am assuming we should have our Screw Lariat by the third week of September.

I guess I will just wait and see.

Our SuperCab was supposedly built last week, and the dealer said to expect it within three or four weeks. We hope that he was padding that by a week or so, and that we will be pleasantly surprised. He was on vacation last week and didn't give us a VIN number or details, just that it was scheduled for the week of Aug. 25. We have yet to see a Lariat - or even an FX4 with the flow through console. Can't wait!

 

I have sat in a super cab lariat with the floor console shifter and buckets and all I can say is that I had a "moment"

This interior for a pickup truck by far is the most awesomest I have ever seen.....................

Hopefully they can get it cleaned up enough to sell it to somebody.

Screwbuilder / Lightningkid ~ Please confirm or deny our dates before we have a nervous breakdown... I think I feel the beginning of some twitching.

 

I spoke with my dealer today after he received his weekly DORA report and showed that my 4x2 Supercrew was built last week but had no shipping date. He manually entered the VIN and no shipping or arrival date showed up.. He called a lady in Detroit (?), gave her the VIN and said the truck was built but was still in KC "going thru inspection".. She had no further info at this time.
Hope to get in a couple of weeks.

 

I wish there was a website that we could use to tell us the status of our ordered vehicles. Type in our name, order number or VIN and have it spit out our information. This would be a huge help !!! I'm hoping for delivery by the end of the month.... I can't take the wait any longer!

 

wingn8ive-Only BMW and possibly Audi offer what you want. The only problem with BMW's order to build schedule is that it is always a week behind though better than nothing. I doubt if it is ever offered from one of the Big 3 because of the #'s of vehicles built. There are only a few of us nut cases. Most people just purchase from inventory.
