Question Question About 04 F150

When you purchase the trailer towing package. Does the Reverse Sensing System Automatic come with it. Because I read some where it comes with the package Thanks Just Asking

No but the option is only available if you get the trailer tow first.

lanceparkhurst is correct, but if you price it out on KBB.com and you select the Trailer Tow Package, you will see in the details that the "Reverse Sensing System" is included. This is a mistake. I priced it out on 7/18/2003, but maybe they've fixed there option/pricing since then....

My understanding of the option tree is that the reverse sensing system is a seperate option from the towing package; BUT, you must order the towing package if you want to add the option of the reverse sensing package. One of the option guides I saw said that the towing package "enabled" reverse sensing system, which I guess means that there's a wire or connection for the reverse sensors that gets onto the truck only if the towing pack is installed.

I'm always amused at how option packages connect to other packages, and therefore "require" each other. I guess the people who don't get a towing package will not back up close to anything.
