SuperCrew Two Tone
SuperCrew Two Tone
My friend at work ordered a SuperCrew Lariat W/Two tone. He was told from his dealer that they were having problems with the two tone. Has anyone else heard of this? The dealership offered to paint it for him?
Screwbuilder said there were no problems or delays with anything on Screws. And as we've confirmed several times before, dealers don't know *****. I believe Screwbuilder over a clueless dealer.
Yes, we do know more than the dealers do on a lot of subjects, but then again, they don't spend as much time on the net and we are "enthusiasts."
I read on a Ford employee gripe site (mainly union rumors) that the two tone paint process is actually a spay on wet technique to reduce production times. Apparently the new process has had a few bugs. Mine looks great with the Arizona Beige over white.
For some reason everything seems to take longer on the Super Crews. Don't know what the difference there is.
