Discount Plans?

I know this has been discussed before, but 1 more time if you don't mind. Please explain, very simply, the different discount plans (A,D,X etc.) What you have to do, who you have to know to qualify, and how much it actually discounts the price. Does it discount off retail or invoice? Can I make it benefit me, even if I'm not sure that I have any known connections to Ford? Thanks again.

A/Z/D Plans are for Ford employees or retirees and immediate family members (spouse, sons, daughters, step children, in-laws, etc.). X-Plan is for friends and partnerships and a PIN can be obtained if you know someone who works for Ford who will sponsor you. Depending on who you work for, your company may have a partnership with Ford that will qualify you for the X-Plan. If you're unsure, check with your HR dept.

Here are the prices for my order, a 4x2 Lariat SCrew, loaded with all the gravy... except moonroof. I'll be using the A-Plan from my stepdad.

$36,000.00 MSRP
$31,757.35 INVOICE
$30,401.35 A/Z/D PLAN
$31,767.00 X-PLAN

Hope this helps.
