In the Titan, the Endurance V8 will provide 305 horsepower @ 4900 and 379 lb-ft of torque @ 3600 RPMs.

more horsepower, and more torque, but less towing capability??? Does anyone else see the problem here????:banana:

Brakes?
Tires?
Tow vehicle weight?

I think it's the angle of refraction while the sun and Jupiter are at just the right stage.

What rearend ratio do the Titans use? That coupled with tire size could drop it a little. And as Raoul said brakes and tow vehicle weight could also factor in.

BIGGEST factor = Transmission... :thumbsup:

Thats true, if you have a crappy transmission you won't get too far.:D

Nissan has said this thing will tow 9,400 lbs.
Is that not enough for you guys?

It's only 300# away from the F-150's estimate.

Besides, how many people here town THAT much weight?

When it came to designing the cabin of the Titan Crew Cab, Nissan kept in mind that many full-size crew-cab trucks (like the F-150 SuperCrew) are used to haul around not only construction workers, but suburban families. With that in mind, the Titan Crew Cab can be configured to sit five or six passengers and do so comfortably. With 127 cubic feet of space, the Titan Crew Cab has more interior room than the just announced new-generation Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra models. That also means more front and rear seat legroom than any of its competitors. An available full-length overhead console (similar to the one seen on the new Quest) offers space for a optional rear-seat DVD entertainment system; dampened storage bins for cell phones, PDAs, CDs, etc; and overhead reading lamps.

9400# isn't too bad. Better to have it and not need it, and so on.....

You gotta remember its a Jap truck.........Jap cars may have great reliability........but the trucks well......thats why you don't see a lot of jap trucks, they ain't reliable.....lol.......j/m......


Seriously though I rarely see japanese trucks.
