Finding Invoice Price and Release Dates
I have two questions I know someone in here can answer. First how can you find out the invoice price of the 2004 you have picked out? For say the one I priced out on the new Ford Built and Price site. And second I was told today by a dealer that the FX4 Supercrews would not be out until 4 or 5 months. Is this true or should I count out this dealer all together? From what I have read around October they should be coming out for sure if I order one ahead of time? Any feed back would be much appreciated.

The Ford build and price site gives invoice price. You can also get it at Edmunds.com
Beware! The actual Ford invoice that the dealer gets includes a charge for gas and FDAF (Ford Dealer Advertising Fee). These are real charges according to Edmunds and my dealer (who I trust), but these aren't included in any of the web invoice price calculators. If you buy for actual invoice, expect to pay more than what the price calculators give you. I have seen FDAF from $70 (my 2000 ZX2) to $310 (my 2002 Explorer Limited). Gas charge was $10.80 (6 gal on ZX2) and $20.80 (13 gal on Explorer).
