how did the console shifter work, is it a thumb button, or is it a squeeze handle??

Love it! The only thing I don't like is the Oval in the center of the tailgate, and it's a SuperCrew but it dosen't mention it on the tailgate.

Thanks for posting the pictures! They're awesome! I can't wait to get one!

Couple of questions:

1. How does the leather feel?

2. In the pictures, it looks like the front end is taking a nose dive. Does it look like that in person?

3. Did it have the audiophile sound? If so, how was it?

4. Is the black interior as cool in person as it is in the pics??

Thanks!!

I dont know, maybe its just me, but looking at those pics make me glad I bought a 2003. Automatic shifters that are in the floor, belong in cars not trucks, and to me, that tailgate emblem, YUK.
Sorry Guys thats just my opinion, and I know everyones got one.

I disagree... I think Ford is on to what's cool! More and more people are buying trucks not necessarily to work (I mean hauling stuff and farming out of, etc.)... I think Ford realizes this and is making this truck as luxurious as a car, but tough enough to do traditional truck work... Way to go Ford!!

Like I said its just my opinion so lets not go and get excited about anything here. I havent seen any brochures yet so I didnt know that you can get the shifter on the column. And as far as FORD making it more luxurious, if you want luxurious buy a Lexus, this is the reason why truck prices are goin through the roof because all the preppie people are buying them. LIKE I SAID ITS JUST MY OPINION

You'll be happy with your 2003! They're awesome trucks!! Several people in my family (and I have a huge family) have 'em and love them!! Congrats! I'm holding out, though cause I want the preppy truck!
