150's to California

I just received an email from a few dealerships in the San Francisco Bay Area. They said they will receive their first shipment in two weeks during the first week of August with alot more arriving closer to October.

Ahhh, they're almost here.

I talked to 2 dealers today and they both said that they don't expect to see any 'o4s for the show room until Sept... They are being encouraged to get rid of a lot of '03's before they will get a lot of '04s. They might get one or two just to tease us all but will need to drastically reduce their '03 inventory first... I too am from CA.

They offered me an '03 SCAB, 4x2 with 5.4 L, trailer package, cab steps, rear power sliding window for $18,000. This similar '04 would either be $32,000 (x-plan), or I could afford a stripped XL.

Should I wait and be broke for an extra 5 years or get a great deal and see how it goes???

I'm thinkg about getting the 04... Scab FX4...but i put down 5k last time to drive out and finance 27k if not it would been financing 32k... i just dont want to do this again...real togh decision... or if your patient(unlike myself) wait a few month after the release for rebates but thats only going to be about 1k if were luck...
