Thumbs up 04's on the ROAD!

Woo Hoo!
I saw a bunch of 04 F150's in a caravan on I-10 between Beaumont and Houston on Friday morning.
Then I go to work a different way this morning...and there on the side of Beltway 8 between 249 and 290 at SamHouston Racepark...there is a huge Ford tent and a ton of new F150s in the parking lot.
I stopped by and they guy at the gate said it was restricted to local dealer training.
They also had other a couple of other competitors new rigs there, so they could do comparisons.
I tell you though, the ones that were making the trips through the slalom course were moving.

I passed an 04 Supercab 4x4 XLT on the Southfield freeway this morning. But I work in Ford Country so that isn't too uncommon.

Houston

Let's clear this up. YES, there are F150's rolling in this weekend. (shout out to my Houston friend!!!) What your dealer tells you is up to them. One out of four of my dealers admitted they've already shipped. But, he said nothing is showing up in their computer systems, so they have NO idea what they're actually getting. He said wait and see.

I talked to my dealer yesterday and he said they are expecting their first shipment in about two weeks. He didn't know what was comming yet. He said if I ordered my FX4 SCrew today, I would have to wait about 6-8 weeks to get it.

It would be nice to have one but I love the truck I have now. It has the perfect look. It is the first truck I actually plan on keeping until paid off and then keep it after that.

Usually after about 2 years I start getting that itch for a new truck, but not this time...
