New promotional mailer arrived yesterday
New promotional mailer arrived yesterday
Hey all. Here I sit burning another vacation day waiting on the counter top installation guy to make a second attempt at getting it right. (Sorry totally off topic but venting).
I got a plastic sealed 11x12 quad-folded promotional piece in the mail. It unfolds to almost 2.5' by 2.5'. Full color pics of the 04 truck with engines, frames etc. Pretty nice. Ford must have spent a fortune on these things. Imagine mailing one of these to someone who has already made up his mind to buy one.
Of course I think I'll have to wait until late 2004 for my King Ranch to be made but I digress. Anyhow through the group might find it interesting.

No definite answers on the KR
I've called every (or nearly every) dealer in maryland. Some say yes we can get it for you but they sound more like "just get him in the showroom and he'll take the lariat" and others say nothing is happening this year on the KR. I caled Ford directly and they told me "it isn't clear what is happenign with the KR right now." So I've resigned myself to waiting until I see a KR badge on the new style be it October 2004 or later. I'm not spending close to 40k on a truck that 6 months later I can say now that is the truck I REALLY wanted. I'm anxious, disappointed, excited, depressed all at the same time. Man why I do this to myself?

Exciting times!
I'm not sure about Jim, but I think the reason I got one is that one day, a couple of months ago, I went onto Ford's website and clicked on a little icon that said something like, "Sign up to recieve updates on 2004 F150" ... or something. Anyway, I think it will ask you for your email and home address and stuff.

I got one also, and got bored with it quickly. It's large, has big pictures, and a little "feature" listing; but it's not the sort of catalog I need. I want to know what options and packages are available, color listings, and towing weights; good tech stuff. In my opinion, they sent this newspaper to the wrong group. There were no surprises in it.
