I edited it and put the current FX4 rims on it. I like it!

I replied via the email. The truck isn't mine.

I'm not exactly sure purty_2004, they may be rims thrown on for testing purposes... I really don't know though I really hope not myself cause they're rather ugly (too fat looking) If I got an FX4 I'd buy some aftermarket rims to put on. (if those are the rims that will come)

I think those might be the 17 inch rims. The eighteens on some of the brochures and other pictures look much, much better.

I'm just a little worried because I want an FX4 and I'm gonna put aftermarket rims on it (18" X 9.5") , but not for a year or so cause I'm spending all my money on the truck!! Gotta save a little while, you know?

I think the standard 17" wheels on the '04 FX4 are the same as on the "03 model. The optional 18" are what you see pictured on the Lariat model. At least that's what I was told by the dealer. Man, I hope that's right. Those shown here are really cheap looking. If that's the way they are, I hope I can find some '03 FX4 wheels left over from a custom wheel change out.

The 04' will have a 6 lug patern like the 03' Expedition. So any 03' F-150 wheels will not work.

You're absolutely right. I hadn't noticed that. Let's just hope that the FX4 wheels look like they do in the brochure. Those have the 6 lugs, so they must exist somewhere. I'll try to find out more tomorrow.

Those wheels in the original pic are the std 17: FX4 wheels. The optional 18" wheels look much better. As stated in a previous reply the 03's wheels are not held over although they are somewhat simliar to the 04 18"...

So, are the optional 18" what is shown on the FX4 in the brochures. I'm really confused now.
