Any bets on the 2004 MT truck/year?

That’s 0.9 second quicker than either a Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab with a 345-horse Hemi or a GMC Sierra Denali with a 325-hp, 6.0-liter Vortec V-8—two of our favorite trucks.
Car and Drivers review of the Titan was pretty impressive. I still want to see one in person, before I make a final decision, but it is looking very impressive.

I submit that there are a few things more important than 0-60 in 6.9. Mainly, the Titan is ugly as sin. If I was worried about 0-60 times, I wouldn't be buying a truck.
If you are really more concern with 0-60, then how a truck works, get a Cobra it will make that Titan look like an escort in a drag race or better yet get one of those SVT F150 Lightning with a 1/4 mile time that is over 2 seconds better than a Titan and if you need more room you could always get an 03 Supercrew Harley that’s is also a lot faster than the Titan. I did not buy a Truck to drag race in because usually the motors you drag race with do not make good truck motors and high revving motors make little since in a Truck. That’s why when I want to race I get the 03 Cobra out and hit the streets; well you are not suppose too do that anyway but thats another story. When I want to haul something or just relax in the quietest and most comfortable car interior opps Truck interior, its hard to tell, I get the 04 F150 Supercab Lariat out on the Road and listen to some good tunes, just cruise and relax. Because nothing makes you feel more relax after a hard day than a quiet smooth ride home and you are not concerned about beating the guy next too you to the next stop light, anyway that’s for the weekends in the Hot Rod.

The Harley Davidson SuperCrew is faster than a Titan?
You're kidding right?
Even with the blower the HD-S'Crew is still in thte high 7's low 8's...
You guys were right, i was wrong-
Congrats Ford- As a Ford owner 4-times over I KNOW they are solid trucks, and were the best on the road, but I had high-hopes for the Titan- being the machine that it is, built by a manufacturer that I know is good at what they do.
Hat's off to you! And congrats on the Motor trend Truck of the Year.

Well, if I see it in Motor Trend or Car & Driver, then I'll believe it...
Either way, the HD is a specialty truck- so if it doesn't win, shame on them... I the Non-Blown HD's are turtles....
Well, I wonder what the tow & payload capacities are for the SC-HD-Screw...?
Note: To change the subject- I can't believe I'm about to say something good about GM, but man.... I went to the GM Auto show at Texas Motor Speedway, and they had all the hot (Conceivably affordable) rides from GM, Ford, Chrysler, MB, BMW, Lexus, you name it...
As much as I hate to say it, ergonomically, the Chevy's were very nice on the inside. I drove a Silverado SS, and man- it was nice. The leather, the feel, everything said quality. The 2004 F-150 with the floor shifter looks nicer, but the regular (Column shifted) F-150's don't. Ford also has GM beat hands-down when it comes to stereo. I expected the Silverado wearing the "SS" moniker would've had a stereo out of this world. My 2001 S'Crew's stock system sounds better... But, like I said- the interior on the GM's looked way better... And let's not even talk about the Denali C3 Pickup.....
Ford needs to bring that King Ranch out quickly.... That Denali is, without a doubt the nicest truck I've had the pleasure of sitting in. I'd never own one because of previous bad GM experiences, but on that day- GM was better... I don't know how proud I'd be of it after 3-4 years though.... Especially at $46,000.00

They have it at 6.2 seconds.
i don't recall ( after all that was written on this thread ) anyone
mentioning how Ford brags about redesigning it's F-150 BUT
kept installing the bogus rearends with the infamous shudder problem that all the dealers had to go and repair after the fact instead of just fixing the problem before installing at assembly.
ESPECIALLY since they were aware of it with the tsb's and all.
