Anyone out there know when production of the 04 Super-Crew will begin? I understand the production will be in Kansa City. I've placed my order for a FX4 with all the options checked. Order sheet stated late availability on chrome step bar, dealer called last week and said that will be available 9/1. Hope it doesn't go to late in year, don't care to get a new truck and see it dirty through the winter.

 

I work at the plant in Kansas City. We are off work until July 14. After that, I assume we will go back and slowly start production of the 2004. Rumors are that we will only be working 4 to 8 hours for at least a few weeks. We are not even scheduled to work Saturdays until October if that tells you anything. Keep in mind that Ford will most likely hold all trucks for quality control for quite awhile.
