Gear Ratio

Looking at the ordering guide, it looks like you cannot order the 4.10 rear-end with the FX4 package. Will you need these gears to tow the 9500 lbs that the truck is rated at?

What about 4.10 with the Lariat? ...or is 3.73 the max?

Nope... The only way you can get the 4.10 gears is with a XL / XLT, Regular Cab / SuperCab, and an 8' box.

cool, thanks... so from what I gather, I would need to get the Class IV trailer tow group, 3.73 limited slip rear axle and 17" tires to reach the 9500 lb towing capacity with the Lariat...
