All the reviews I have read indicate that the hood is 2 inches taller than 2003 and square too.

If the engine bay is now comparable to the Super Duty does the V10 (and Powerstroke for that matter) a possibility in a half-ton?Realizing that this probably wouldnt happen until 2005 or '06

 

I seriously doubt that Ford will opt to put their V-10 in a light-duty truck such as the F-150... but, you never know!

 

the v 10 has less powre then the 5.4 but has more touque so unless your towing i would eb slower now i if it had more power and was avable in the 04 i would get it i have has me screw 8weeks now and will be geting teh new one in a year or si and the v10 would be nice

 

Actually the V-10 already is rated at 310hp and I think 425lb ft compared to the 3v 5.4 300hp and 365lb ft. If/when they convert the V-10 over to a 3V design it should put out an easy 375-400HP and 500lb ft torque.

 

well that is better last i heard it only had 275 hp. but with it on what you say is way better

 

The 1999 V-10's were rated at 275, the 2000-and up are rated at 310.
