Yes, the current body style F150 will be called the "Heritage Edition" in 04 and the new F-150 will become the regular. The biggest difference besides style, power, & comfort? PRICE. CHA-CHING!

Hey BigBadRedLiftedFordMan:

I just now realized you have a 97 150. Did you buy it new, if you did, did you experience any problems with "bugs" from a new series??? I dont think we should worry about these new ones, Ford has too much riding on them.

Only select models will be availible in the Heratige edition. No top of the line ones, like Lariat, KR.

The power of the 2004 models just gets sapped up by the extra weight.

I did buy it new, but no didn't have any problems. Well, I take that back, I had some tranny problems, but they all occurred within warranty time. I also had the Door Crack issue which hasn't been resolved yet, but that's my fault for not pushing it more. Um, besides that...nothing that I didn't cause really. Plus, I think the new trucks are going to be better tested than the last. They already have admitted that they can't have anything mess up right off the bat for these things or it's gonna hurt them seriously. The current generation trucks were very pushed to come out and started to appear a year early, the new ones are not so pushed, and are actually running a little late. This is a good thing though. I'd rather them take a couple more months and test them to death to make sure, then ship it to me and let me test it. Good luck!
