04 tow rating out yet?
anyone learned what the GVWR and towing poundage is on the 04's with the new 5.4 3 valve?

What cab/bed/tires/axle? 4WD?

4x4 Supercab 6.5' bed - all 3.73 gears:
17" tires 9300#
18" tires 8800#

4x4 Supercrew 3.73 gear:
17" tires 9200#
18" tires 8700#

If you acess to the owner's manual, it's in there.

thanks, looks encouraging, but access to the 2004 F150 owner's manual? you lucky son of a or are you talking 2003...?

That is the 2004 from the first printing of the manual. Oh, missed the other numbers. I'll get those tomorrow for you.

No GVWR ratings in the owner's manual. Just a note that each vehicle is specific and printed on the labels. Actually, I saw it somewhere. Oh, order guide.

Subercab 6.5' bed and Supercrew 4x4's are 7200# with 5.4L.
