Ford's 2004 F150 Website

Ford did a great job on their website for the 2005 F150 when it first appeared over (3) months ago. But , after (3) months I thought they would have updated it by now! They said they would tell us more as the date for the 2004 F150 to go on sale arrives. Come on Ford and update your website, so we don't have to rely on speculation and rumors about the F150.

I think it would be nice if they would tell us about things to come. We know about the look, the new interior and the new 5.4. I want to hear about the three valve 4.6 and if they will have another engine choice. I would really like to know if/when they will offer a manual transmission, and if it will have the improvements needed to make it better than the M5OD. A little more on the production version of the next gen Lightning would be helpful.

I plan on getting a new truck soon. More info would make the decision much easier.

I wouldn't look for copius amounts of information to come out until immediately before production is to begin. The reason being is that they still have LOADS of 03's sitting on the lots and, with the unveiling of the 'new features', some dealerships will have to nearly give the 03's away as many will hold out for the 'new and improved' 04.

I know that's been the philosophy of MANY manufacturers when it comes to begining and unveiling a new 'product line' in the past.
