Trim Options

I've done quite a bit of reading, and it looks as if the chrome trim around the grill fascia is only available on the XL. Does anyone have any info on whether it'll be an option on either the STX or XLT. I think the chrome treatment on it looks better, IMO, than the monotone on the STX and XLT. It makes it appear more ominous like the chrome front of the Super Duties.

I agree, I really like the chrome around the grill on my 2000 XL, better than the monotone XLT of the same year.

No idea about the new ones though.

Welcome to the site.

More chroming options would be great. Imagine all chrome bumpers, gills, door and gate latches and fender treatments in chrome from the factory. Think of those nostrils on the FX4 in chrome surrounded by chrome.

Hopefully someone better on thses contraptions than I am will alter some photos that way.

And teach me to type.
