finally a clear pic to see of it.

my impressions- like the front end more than i thought i would. flareside bed is ugly. too plain, just a skinny bed with big flares. not as nice as the current gen flaresides that flow back better and taper off.
taillights look like oversized S10 tailllights, but i guess they could grow on me

overall i'm disappointed cuz they made it too big and bulky for a f150 that Lightnings are supposed to be built on, but looks better than i expected

 

-Love the interior
-Hate the grille
-Looks like it really hardly changes from amny profiles.
-Looks under tired. (the '97 ORP did not)
-Needs a chrome bumpers.
-Lose the lower gray paint.

Overall: Very disapointed. I hope the lariat looks better.

Re: F150. I wish we had access to a pic of a Lariat Supercrew in a color other than yellow. I'm assuming that interior is is a Lariat via the console shifter.

Make my '04, Lariat Supercrew Lariat 300Hp 5.4L w/5 sp auto. Have they confirmed if the 5 spd will dubut right off the go or will we have to wait a year for the 6 speed auto? (IMHO a good tranny will make almost as much difference as the new 40 HP)

just got done doing some photoshopping with the pics, just to see what a HD 04 would look like, though its very doubtful the 04 HD's will be on a f150, and even if it did, that it would still have the same style rims, but still interesting none the less.

i do think it has potential for modding after doing some mess with photoshop. although still not sure about a L with it. i'll photoshop that tomorrow if i have time

incase ya don't notice, i changed the paint (duh LoL) the rims, the emblem, the grilles, the nurfbar, and lowered it like 2 feet and its still not enough. LoL

 

Thanks a lot to '03F15054FX4' and especially 'PiThetaTKE' for posting the picture and the great links to all of the pictures. It's kind of cool to have a sneak preview of something nobody's supposed to see until Monday! Very cool.

I think the truck will be very sweet in person. It doesn't look all that great in a couple of the pics, but it really is a mean looking truck. I think Ford will continue to make us proud. As for the HD, good job Josh with the Photoshops-the black one looks pretty cool I think. Sure hope Ford keeps making them on the F150, cuz i know that's what i have my sights set on for my next truck. They are sooooooooo sweet.

Now we'll just have to wait and see all the official pics and specs from Ford! (or does someone have a link to that they are not sharing either????- Come on---gotta share!!!)

I got to see and sit in the new F-150 on Thursday. It was a Supercrew Lariat. It looks very nice. The pics posted here are not exactly what the new truck looks like. The front end looks more like the new Expedition, the front doors are taken from the Superduty and the rear doors reminded me of a hummer in the way the window is designed. It is almost square. Kind of like the rear doors on the Dodge Dakotas. The Lariat has the shifter in the center console, but it is my understanding that not all the trucks will have this. Overall I am pleased with the way it looks and everyone I talked to that saw it really liked it.

 

Mna it sure looks good alot better than most of the drawings i seen.

 

hmmmmm. not a bad looking truck. kinda looks more like an overgrown ranger than an expy to me. is that the regular cab? the rear doors don't look any bigger than the current extended cab truck, but they look to big to be the so called access panels of a reg cab. anybody know the exact configuration of the yellow fx4 shown in the pics? i think the mustang looks pretty tough.
