Floor shifter on a 2002 Screw

Got a 2002 F150 Super crew that I had for almost 20 years and has gone over 200K now, when I got it in 2006 it had 98K on her. The PO had a travel trailer behind it and I said I not towing anything that heavy just a Sea doo trailer. So 19 years later I figured I'd change it up a bit, so 2" front lowering spring, 2" lower rear hangers, SCT update, and still working on a floor shifter out of an Aviator. Just screwed it down to the tunnel and added a spacer for the oem shifter cable. Still needs wiring and a cover but love how it drives. This shifter has D 3 2 1 so if I go with a 6R80 next I can bang 4 gears instead of 3 now lol.

Found a good location for the Overdrive button LOL

It's been almost a year now and finally mocked up a cover for the floor shifter. Gotta say I should have done this 20 years ago lol.

Interesting take on it. I like the inginuity, and the stubby column shifter made me laugh. It is that time of year when things start shrinking in the cold weather

I wasn't the first, but I beat you by 15 years lol! https://www.f150online.com/forums/19...e-shifter.html

I didn't feel like cutting the overdrive wires, so I just stuck the hole shifter assemble in there lol.

Nice job on your setup ! Do you still have the truck because due to the price of new trucks I'm going to drive mine till I'm dead.

Thanks for the kind words! and yes I still have the truck. Its been fully transformed since I built that first console. Now its Gen2 Coyote swapped +6R80 +EPAS and sitting on coilovers on all 4 corners. Oh and its got a modern shifter installed in another console
