99 2wd with 124,000 on it- Opinions ?
So I totaled my Yukon today.
friend has a 99 F150 with 124,000 miles on it.
super cab -2wd.
wants $2,500 for it
Mechanically seems very sound - has normal cosmetic wear and tear and no rust.
what issues do I need to be aware of as I consider buying this?

Which engine and transmission? Nothing mechanically stands out as a problem, they were pretty reliable when properly maintained.
Cab corners, rocker panels, rear quarter panels, and bottom tailgate seam are all subject to rust.
