If you have a 97 to 03 F150 the cup holder in the dash might not be popping out any more since it is a typical issue for these aging trucks. I just repaired mine using the information in this video.
I had a rivet get stuck in my pop rivet tool. In order to get it out you need to tap the end of the rivet knocking it back into the tool. This releases the grip on the rivet.

 

You can also use small self tapping screw if you don't have a rivet/gun
