Replaced starter, cranks but wont start.

I had a no crank issue, only solenoid click. Replaced the starter. Now it cranks fine but will not start. Truck was running great before this. I am wondering if I have a coincidental new problem, or just changing the starter on a 23 year old truck somehow disturbed something else electrically. Had to move the cables out of the way to get starter out. Maybe the light pressure on the wiring harnesses jolted something loose? Has anyone experienced this?

Edit: I disconnected all connections from starter, cleaned and reconnected. Still no start. All fuses looked good. They all had continuity with ohmmeter. I had a lot of extra fuses lying around. I just replaced every fuse in the truck as a hail mary. The truck cranked right up. Weird, but i'll take it.

Do you have all lights, accessories and cluster working ?

Also check to hear if fuel pump is activating when you turn the ignition key to on position.

Spray some starter fluid into the intake and see if it fires. If not, you have an ignition problem. If it fires, you have a fuel problem.

Thanks, I will check. I did try jumping solenoid with a screwdriver before I started working on it. Maybe something popped.

Yes I can hear the pump start. Everything on dash looks normal.

Need to verify if you have spark and if there is fuel pressure at the rail. Video explains it better.

The older trucks have a schrader valve on the fuel rail where you can connect a gauge to check fuel pressure.
