What year is your truck? Is the 2004 a Heritage or new body style?

It's a 2000 f150 Triton 4.6
current rear end is a 8.8 3.55 ratio big course lug rear end
Also it's four wheel drive I might add .
My intention is to swap the entire axle from leave springs down

Is the 2004 a Heritage or new body style? Both with rear disc brakes?

No, a new body style rear won't fit.

2000 through 2003 and 2004 Heritage, assuming you have rear disc brakes.

I have so many questions

but we’ll stick to the required basics ie body style of the ‘04 that’s been asked multiple times and ignored

Asked and answered. New body style. Will not fit, 2000-2003 plus 2004 Heritage will fit assuming his truck and the rear have rear disc brakes.
