Will do. Same here. I'm left with thinking it's a matter of timing, be it mechanically or electrically controlled.....

Been at the local Ford dealership for 2 weeks now and they supposedly still haven't gotten a mechanic on it. Crazy times. Could've taken it to another shop I know of but wasn't sure of their capabilities if it turned out to be something major. Stay tuned.....

You brought it to the right place. They should be able to figure it out.

As far as wait times, I've been busy helping friends do repairs because shops are just charging too much or the wait times are insane.

Been thinking of opening my own shop one of these days...... just doing minor work, suspension, oil changes, tune ups, brakes, etc.

Well for those still following along......an update. I don't know what happened between my driveway and the dealer's lot, but after it sitting in their hands 2-3 weeks, the truck started fine.

Good news: the truck is back in my driveway and it didn't cost me anything

Bad news: no idea what caused it not to start for 4 weeks straight and when it might happen again?

have a great weekend!

No. Other than when the fuel pump failed a few years ago, it's the first time it hasn't started in 21 years. Just posted an update and hoping I don't end up with an intermittent but mysterious problem. Best of luck with your truck.

Following back up just to document new info: after a few intermittent crank-no-starts over the first half of 2023, I decided to remove the throttle body and clean it out thoroughly. I also cleaned the MAF sensor really well. Neither of these services had ever been performed. I noticed an instant improvement in cranking speed and quality, and have not had a no-start since.

Thanks again to all those who commented along this thread
