98 f150 drag/Street truck bbf

Hey yall new member here I have a 98 f150 shortbed and I plan on to put a 460 in it and build a drag truck my question is has anyone done this before? I know I'll have to make custom motor mounts but what else will I have to do I plan on stripping all the interior besides the dash and make it pretty bare boned to shave weight. Looking to make around 800 to the tire so I know I have some engine work to do. will I need forged pistons and rods if I plan on running a 250-300 shot on it? Or will a set of pistons with factory rods hold up? Thanks for any questions yall answer

BBF parts are something you need to research before going all out “ricer mode” on cool guy stuff and figure out what you’ll need to support the bottle, and power levels you seek
