There isnt anything on the internet and I cannot be the only one so if you get a p0161 code on your 97-2003 truck and the sensor don't fixit or better yet before you even get the sensor get under your truck and follow the wiring harness inspect it for obious wear damage. thats where you should start! but if you replace the sensor and you still get the code those wires are likely your problem.
I used to post here all the time and what ran me off was the insane every 6 month password reset. please..

Code 161 has been around a long time.
Open Ox Heater wiring bank 2 sensor 2.
Always look at the complete description and not pick out the first word.
A voltmeter will tell you if the heater lead is open with the ignition on.
