F150

Hello to everyone, I hope someone could help with this. I have a 99, grand marquis 4.6 motor and trans. I want to swap out my 4.2 in my 99 ford F-150 for it. Is it possible??

It's possible but it's not easy. If the F150 is 4wd, the transmission is not compatible. If 2wd, the tailshafts have to be the same length. You would need a 4.6 truck PCM, wiring harness, and truck intake and exhaust manifolds.

O, ok. So if I've got all the wiring harness, PCM, off the car it wouldn't interchange. I was going to put a set of headers on it and change out the plastic intake for a after market..
