Hello, I own a 1997 F-150 Lariat. My bumper comes with fog lights, but they do not turn on. I changed the bulbs, checked the 27A and 9 fuses, and I use the switch properly (all the way to the right and pull out) Not sure where to go from here, ive read that a relay may need to be replaced, the wires may be bad, or the switch may need to be replaced. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Thank you.

 

I go about these things a bit different than some.
1st make a LONG jumper wire.
hook to + battery and screwdriver test lead (that has a bulb in it..and really sharp point) and send 12v directly to the back of the plug at the light. It should illuminate (you can NOT unplug the bulb as you need the ground wire per the harness)
then work up the harness with the probe...sending 12v at each connection....till fog light does NOT light up. That checks the wires
