Question Front Hub Axle Nut P/N??

Let me start with the details, my truck is a 2003 F150 FX4 5.4L 4R70W with 275k on it (no rebuild on tranny/transaxle/engine). I have been trying to find the part number for my axle nuts for years with no luck at all. All the normal parts stores, including Dorman, do not have the same nut which has a built on washer. I have replaced the hubs a couple of times, and the new hubs even come with the wrong nut (same one Dorman makes). The nut is the correct thread, but the replacement nuts and washer do not have much contact with the hub. There is so little contact between the washer and the hub that I am afraid torquing the nut down to the 188-254 ft-lb would actually cause the washer to fold in. I have just been reusing the original nut, which I'm not sure is a good thing as I think these are supposed to be replaced once removed (though I could be wrong). I have attached a picture of the actual nut that I am looking for (#3 in the diagram). Any help finding the P/N for this nut would be greatly appreciated!

I assume you have gone to a Ford dealer and asked for this nut?
I tried to find it on the ford parts sites on line and the nut is not even shown on their drawings?
I went to rockauto and found this Dorman nut. In the info, it lists OE part numbers it can replace!!!!

Unfortunately, that Dorman nut is the one I described above. It is the right thread size, but it is not the same nut, and the washer that comes with it barely contacts the edge of the hub. I contacted Ford, and looked up the P/N they gave me but it wasn't even the right thread size.

I reused the nut when I replaced my front bearing hubs. As I remember the torque was supposed to be 221 ft. llbs.

Yeah, that's what I've done the few times I've had to remove it. I haven't had any issues with it so far. The Hayne's Manual and AllData say to replace the nut, but in the OEM manuals I have seen it doesn't say to replace the nut.

That nut is reusable, because it relies on a split pin as a safety.

Speaking of which, where is your split pin and cover? I see the hole. I recommend fixing that before driving.

On the 2wd axles you need replace it, because it is a nylock nut. I got one sitting on my desk at my computer I use as a paper weight. It's stamped: DO NOT RE-USE

No worries about the cotter pin and cap, I've been working from home for almost a month and will continue to do so for another month. The truck is currently under construction, so I haven't put them in yet. Upper Control Arms needed replaced, and most of the steering linkage was original (275k miles) so I decided while I wasn't driving it I would replace it all. Lower ball joints, entire tie-rod on both sides, idler arm, pitman arm, and stabilizer bar links. I have it all done, just waiting to get 2 new tires because the tread was wearing fast and wavy (which is what prompted me to replace everything). Upper control arms were trashed, lower ball joints were a little sloppy, everything else was not too bad but figured I would go ahead.

As far as the nut, I guess the DIY manuals just use the statement Do Not Reuse since some of the nuts are not to be reused. Just a CMA statement for them I guess. The nuts I have are slightly eccentric (not an exact circle) so wasn't sure if they could be reused or not. The cotter pins were what kept me from really worrying much about it, figured since I had them off I would ask before I torqued them back down. I will just reuse the same nuts again.
