2003 f150 no start

Hello, I brought this 2003 f150 5.4 truck it had a timing chain replace. The guy I brought it from never said what was wrong spoke with his mom who was the owner. I am going to shorten the story I reset timing chain put all plug and coils back in. The truck theft light is blinking i pretty know what that means (pats). I am trying to troubleshoot to find what else the problem is they're the scanners that I hook up will not communicate unless I make the relay contact work with a piece of paper to close it. The guy I think may have shorted something because there was like a fire extinguisher had been sprayed on the motor. The codes are long from ethos pro which are p1000,p1260,b1213,b1681,u1262,p1846,p1850 Ect. I am trying to find out where to start also on my blue driver one code says reprogram keys tried it with the scanner but don't know if it works. There are other things I could explain if I had a good starting point.

I would be looking for burnt electrical harness and repair it first because nothing else will work until then.
Look up the codes. They range all over the system from PATS to the Transfer case motor wiring.
Some code may not be correct.
Code U1262 tells you already, the communications Bus is damaged, a hint why the Pats doesn't work.
Get Pats working first or you will never start the motor to work out the rest of the problems.
Me thinks the last one to work on the truck did damages and gave up.
Me thinks your in for quite a learning experience and will be a candidate for an "Automotive medical degree" when it's over.
Good luck.

Gosh... you got a mess on your hands. But if you get it running, you've got a good truck from the sounds of it.

Though, the fire extinguisher piece scares me a bit. Plus if it got inside of the engine.

I finally got it to run the first problem was to clear all the codes with the scanner. Then I already had to change the PCM relay but put the old one back in for testing purposes but after clearing all the codes with the new relay the truck started. The additional keys that I brought also started the truck now I have a really ruff idle that's the next issue. Thanks for the help
