Spindle lift issues

I put a 3in spindle lift on my 97 Ford F-150 2wd awhile back and have realized that when I try to turn my wheels they don’t fully turn and hit on the lower control arm. Would anyone know why this is happening? I bought the spindles from rough country.

usually lift spindles move things. Do your wheels meet what the spindles say is required for wheel fitment? Most people never even think about that stuff

Are you running stock rims with bigger/wider tires?, or do you have rims with a positive offset and bigger tires??

I put a 5.5” spindle lift on mine with 37x13.5 tires and 22” rims that have a +12 offset. They were rubbing bad on my lower control arms but I just used 2” wheel spacers and the problem was fixed.

I’d suggest trying a spacer before you cut into anything

U probably have to grind the lower control arm so the spindle can fully turn lock to lock
