Nope - you have a 4R70W and you found a E4OD/4R100. Not interchangeable.

You need a 4R70W out of a 4WD 4.6 or 5.4 V8 F-150 from 1999 through 2003, the later the better.

Better also add that he has to have the 4r70w flywheel as well as the flywheel off an E40D/4R100 will bind the torque converter in a 4r70w. They have more throw towards the torque convertor than the 4r70w does. For those that don't know.

Being that he has a 4R70W now, the flywheel is a 4R70 style. He asked if he can swap a 4R100 into it, and that answer is no, period, unless substantial mods are done.

Yep, a lot of mod to place that transmission in. Had my glasses off reading that. You know how old people are read without our glasses.
