02 Engine Swap
Hello all,
The motor in my F-150 seized on me today. Currently I am trying to decide the best course of action. Doing some looking for engine swaps has me leaning towards getting a new engine and swapping it. Its the 5.4 V8. The truck is 4W drive and does need some other work suspension wise. But I'm leaning towards just repairing everything and having a "New" truck that will last me years. So what I'm wondering is if yall have any suggestions, tips, resources, or anything else. This would be my first engine swap. I've done alot of maintenance and repairs on vehicles but nothing this extensive. Any info is greatly appreciated.

It may seem a bit overwhelming when looking at ALL the stuff to do....but really its just stages.
like Tranny stuff, exhaust stuff, lower mounts, then cooling, AC,wires, then YANK.
May find it easier to work on once youve done the underside stuff....to remove the front wheels and set it on stands....as there is alot of over the fender work to do.
