got this truck from my stepdad after high school (2 years ago) use it as my daily, hunting/off-roading truck and occasionally to haul lumber. Anyone have any additional info on this truck? And I’m looking into a leveling or lift kit on it nothing to crazy maybe a 3 inch lift would do any recommendations?
Personally, I'd find new rims, and get a good set of tires and leave it alone. It looks good just the way it is.
Especially if you are going to use it to haul heavy stuff, those off road lift kits actually diminish the carrying capacity, unless you spend big bucks.

Basically that is a F-150 heavy duty.
the motor a and drivetrain on the truck run great for 220000 miles on them and the frame has minimal rust so is it a good investment to just keep this truck going as long as it’ll go? I’ve been having a debate with one of my co workers over keeping the truck for awhile even if that means putting a little money into it or getting a newer truck that’ll run me 25000 plus?
Crank tbars, get it aligned, toss a block in the back. Just use it.
The 7700s have weird 7 lug wheels..... honestly, there are a few aftermarket wheels availabe, but even the regular 5x135 are difficult to find these days. These trucks haven't been built in 18 years+..
Note - you have a F250 "light duty". In 1999 it became the F150 7700.
This is because the F250/350 "heavy duty" kept the old body style until 1999, when the new Super Duty came out. 1997 was the first year of the new F150 body style which the F250LD shared.
