Headlights wont turn off and the switch does nothing. Dash lights also dont work. Parking lights dont work either. Ive replaced the interior switch and didnt help. Any ideas? 2003 Supecrew.

 

Do you have the auto light option? Look at the head light switch, first position to the left.
Somewhere on the dash area there might be a light sensor that has covered with dirt.

You may have the DRL system that automatically lights the head lights at reduced brightness as soon as the ignition switch is turned on.

No dont have autolamps or DRL. Just started out of the blue. If the truck isnt running the headlights turn off and on fine. When the truck is running then once they are on they dont turn off. Parking lights dont work no matter what.
