I have a 2002 XLT Supercrew.

I have found a post that allows me to disable the headlight flash when locking the truck by remote fob

But I want to also disable the cargo bed lights and dome light from coming on when I unlock the truck by remote fob

I will likely be totally removing the bulbs from the cargo bed lights as I want to wire in some switch operated LED lights along the box.

But I would still like to prevent the dome light from turning on when I unlock the truck remotely.

Take the bulbs out

 

Clearly I still want the thing to work in some instances

 

Take the middle bulb out in the cab, and use the left and right map lights. Take the bulbs out for the cargo area and wire whatever you want up.
